Backing Redditch United in Parliament

I praised Redditch United in Parliament, recognising the club’s vital role in the community. Led by chairman Dave Faulkner, the club supports young players, learners with special educational needs and disabilities, and local businesses—demonstrating the power of grassroots football.

During Business Questions, I called for a parliamentary debate on supporting non-league football clubs, highlighting Redditch United’s innovative kit sponsorship with the Reddit r/football community. With the Football Governance Bill soon to be debated, I pledged to ensure clubs like Redditch United receive the recognition and support they deserve.
