Celebrating the Return of Redditch Outdoor Market

I joined hundreds of residents to celebrate the grand reopening of Redditch’s outdoor market after nearly five years. With fresh produce, artisan goods and handmade items, the market’s return has been met with excitement and strong community support.

Mayor Juma Begum officially reopened the market, with entertainment and branded tote bags adding to the festive atmosphere. I praised Council Leader Joe Baker, councillors, and staff for making the revival a reality. With more stalls, including a butcher, set to join soon, he encouraged residents to shop local. The market runs Thursdays and Saturdays, 9am–4pm.
