Championing Inclusive Sports at Redditch United

I praised Redditch United FC and Heart of Birmingham Vocational College (HBVC) for their commitment to supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
During my visit, I met HBVC staff and learners benefiting from the Sports and Education Programme, which provides professional coaching and qualifications. I also saw the club’s grassroots initiatives, including SEND-friendly sessions and a partnership with Birchensale Middle School to promote girls’ football.
I welcomed the £3,000 grant from Entain’s Pitching In initiative and pledged to continue championing inclusive sports and education opportunities for young people in Redditch.
