I attended the annual meeting of the Trade Union Group this week, reaffirming my strong commitment to championing workers’ rights and fair treatment in the workplace. The meeting emphasised the critical role of trade unions in safeguarding employees, particularly during times of rapid economic and technological change.

Unions are vital in protecting workers, advocating for fair pay, and fostering safe and just workplaces. I’m proud to stand with them in ensuring employees’ voices are heard.
