Chris visits DS Smith R8 site in Redditch

This morning, I was delighted to visit DS Smith's Global Innovation and R&D Centre in Redditch and gain insight into how they're redefining packaging for a changing world.

Following a company presentation about DS Smith's operations sustainability strategy, Stuart Rose and Katie Turberville-Cox led me on a site tour. The team shared some, but of course not all, of their innovative and future-thinking work in progress.

I was genuinely inspired by what I saw here today. It is phenomenal to get this sneak peek at how DS Smith is accelerating learning to provide sustainable packaging solutions for its customers worldwide. I am proud of this facility in Redditch and the possibilities it can bring to local people regarding job prospects.
