Joining Local Leaders to Tackle Knife Crime in Redditch

I met with West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion, Inspector Richard Field, and local knife crime prevention leaders to discuss tackling knife crime in Redditch. Joined by Peter Martin from Redditch Self Defence and Youth Engagement, the meeting focused on early intervention, enforcement, and youth support services.

I emphasised the importance of prevention and community collaboration to make local streets safer. The PCC highlighted funded services aimed at changing behaviours and supporting at-risk individuals. By working together, we are committed to ensuring Redditch remains a safe place for all residents.
