Redditch Post Office Secured – But Work Continues to Safeguard Services

I welcomed confirmation that Redditch Post Office will remain open as part of the Post Office’s move to a fully franchised network. The decision follows a successful community campaign backed by over 1000 residents.

While the announcement is a major step forward, I have called for urgent clarity on the new franchising partner, protections for trained staff, and the services that will be provided.

This is a victory for local people, but we’re not done yet. I’ll keep working to ensure this essential service remains at the heart of our town.
