I have secured a vital Parliamentary debate on strengthening mental health support in schools, with cross-party backing from 38 MPs across seven parties. The debate will highlight the crucial role of educational settings in providing early intervention, wellbeing services, and targeted support for young people.

With 75% of lifetime mental health difficulties emerging before age 24, I stressed the need for sustained investment in early help services, children’s social care, and school-based mental health programmes. This debate ensures children’s mental health remains a priority, driving forward solutions to help every child thrive.
