Standing Up for Veterans

I hosted Veterans Minister Al Carns and Tom Collins MP for a vital discussion with local veterans on the challenges they face. Key issues raised included mental health support, housing, service coordination, and data collection to improve care.

Minister Carns highlighted government initiatives, including Op Fortitude and the upcoming Armed Forces Bill, while also acknowledging gaps in support. I emphasised the need for stronger local and national action to ensure veterans get the care they deserve. I remain committed to championing veterans' issues in Redditch and the Villages and pushing for meaningful change.
